Job Responsibilities
- Lead the student engagement team in developing and implementing a strategic plan for experiential / co-curricular learning and development that supports the mission of the Undergraduate Division.
- Oversee and enhance the Wharton International Program (WIP) and the Wharton Industry Exploration Program (WIEP).
- Collaborate with alumni relations, as well as student organizations, employers, career services, Wharton initiatives and departments, and various functions within the Undergraduate Division to ensure comprehensive and forward-thinking engagement strategies to enhance alumni-student connections.
- Develop career readiness programs and evaluate the effectiveness of career programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Cultivate a diverse and robust alumni network to expose students to cutting-edge industry trends and opportunities and support innovative student recruitment strategies.
- Develop metrics and benchmark, collect, and assess data to support student learning improvement and to assess the impact of current and future co-curricular learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; Master degree in higher education or related field strongly preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience in higher education including creation, implementation, and assessment of student-facing programming
- Ability to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for career readiness, global programs, and alumni engagements.
- Demonstrated success in developing exploratory, career, and global student programs that achieve measurable learning outcomes.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across the Wharton undergraduate division
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the work.
