Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the student engagement team in developing and implementing a strategic plan for experiential / co-curricular learning and development that supports the mission of the Undergraduate Division.
  • Oversee and enhance the Wharton International Program (WIP) and the Wharton Industry Exploration Program (WIEP).
  • Collaborate with alumni relations, as well as student organizations, employers, career services, Wharton initiatives and departments, and various functions within the Undergraduate Division to ensure comprehensive and forward-thinking engagement strategies to enhance alumni-student connections.
  • Develop career readiness programs and evaluate the effectiveness of career programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Cultivate a diverse and robust alumni network to expose students to cutting-edge industry trends and opportunities and support innovative student recruitment strategies.
  • Develop metrics and benchmark, collect, and assess data to support student learning improvement and to assess the impact of current and future co-curricular learning opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required; Master degree in higher education or related field strongly preferred.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in higher education including creation, implementation, and assessment of student-facing programming
  • Ability to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for career readiness, global programs, and alumni engagements.
  • Demonstrated success in developing exploratory, career, and global student programs that achieve measurable learning outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across the Wharton undergraduate division
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with faculty, staff, and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the work.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
