Job Summary - Nurse
Responsible for providing compassionate care and a safe environment for patients to heal. Accountable for creating and maintaining a professional environment for all patients and staff by upholding best practices in patient interactions, medication administration, documentation, and mentoring and modeling healthy relationships and a healthy lifestyle.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Initial Face-to-face, intake paperwork, and Nursing Assessment upon admit
- Preform or delegate Urinary analysis, breathalyzer, pregnancy test for new patients
- Daily nursing progress notes
- Enter and maintain an active medication list in EHR including patient self-administered DTR supplement protocol.
- Ensures that vitals are documented & taper protocols are being followed per MD order
- Responsible for medical necessity documentation
- Responsible for documenting time spent face-to-face with the patient, the components of the visits, date services rendered, specific nurses rendered
- Responsible for ensuring that clients have a safe discharge plan prior to discharging from facility
Qualifications and Skills
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Food Handlers Permit
- 18 years or older
- Must have basic computer user skills
- Preferred 1 year experience in the industry
- Active DOPL Nursing License
