What you will be doing As a Technician Trainer you will be responsible for Class 5-8 equipment training, diagnostics, and safety training of technicians for a high-level fleet customer with multiple locations within your region.

The job responsibilities are outlined below.   Responsible for conducting training courses for new and existing TransChicago technicians.  Responsible for conducting training courses for technicians from other Freightliner dealers and TransChicago customers.  Partner with service managers regarding employee training needs.  Organize, develop, or source training programs to meet specific training needs.  Inform technicians about training options.  Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching.  Provide feedback to program participants and management.  Attend continuing education courses to learn about new products and repair / diagnostic techniques.

Maintain in-house training facilities and equipment as needed.

Attend technician career events High school diplomas or general education degree.  Expert Certification on Freightliner, M2, Detroit Required.  ASE Master Certification Required.  1 year of related or industry experience Required.   5 years of Dealership experience Preferred. 2 years as a trainer with presentation of curriculum in a classroom setting preferred.  Compensation & Benefits :

• Compensation :  $70,000-$85,000.  Compensation will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications, and education.
