Inventory Planner

Req ID : 157644 Job Responsibilities

Organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information.

Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third party warehousing.

Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge;

provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process / rating improvement efforts.

Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle
• Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity
• Analyzes, reviews and maintains material stocking levels at customer on site warehouses and at local off-site warehouses to support local customers warranty and non-warranty requirements
• Extracts material transaction data from applicable databases and generate metrics regularly to report on performance to objectives
• Works with corporate planning and purchasing organizations to acquire delivery schedules of materials for expedited customer requirements
• Monitors and tracks material database accuracy between Lam Systems and customers
• Processes material orders within SAP to support standard and expedited requirements
• Resides for work at local customer facility and / or local Lam facility, depending on requirements - this requirement can change, so employee must be flexible between the facilities
• Assists local personnel and accounts receivable with exceptions to payment receipt of material invoices
• Assists local personnel with material shipment discrepancies to / from customers site
• Works closely with customer to ensure material requirements are met and communicates with various levels within the customer and Lam organization

Minimum Qualifications

MS Office Excel intermediate proficiency, Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience;

or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

MS Office Excel advanced proficiency, customer engagement experience, quality and continuous improvement experience / training, Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience;
