Nurses stay at GW Hospital because of : Professional development opportunities Teamwork Interdisciplinary CareAdvances in academic medicine Unit Summary : The 39-bed unit is dedicated to providing high-quality pre / post general surgical care as well as managing the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.

The RN will be responsible for providing patient-focused nursing care to patients with various surgical needs, including Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies, Tracheostomies, kidney and liver transplants, and trauma patients.

RNs on this unit can learn about a wide range of surgical procedures and techniques, which can enhance their expertise and contribute to their professional development.

Qualifications QualificationsCurrent RN License in good standing with state licensing board.BSN required OR enrollment and completion of BSN within 5 yearsMinimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience in an acute care setting.
