Senior Accountant Consultant

Seeking experienced Senior Accountant Consultants for clients in the East Oakland County, MI area to be engaged on an interim basis.

As a Senior Accountant Consultant, specific role(s) with clients and position responsibilities will vary from engagement to engagement.

Work may include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintenance of general ledger including journal entries, accruals and completing month-end close, analyze financial information and summarize financial status, support preparation of financial statements, and assist in budget preparation.

The ideal Senior Accountant Consultant candidate would have minimum 5+ progressive years accounting and / or finance experience, in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process, advanced MS Excel skills, and Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
