Job Description
Opportunity :
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs all accountabilities associated with compounding, dispensing, charging, and delivery of medications to the patient.
All medications are checked for accuracy by a pharmacist per the rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy prior to leaving the Department of Pharmacy.
- This position will be involved in the daily sterile compounding of medications for the home infusion pharmacy.
- Assist in maintaining USP 797 standards with in designated areas.
- Contact patients as needed to review medication needs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Participate in extra task and projects as assigned.
- Participate in special projects
- Participate in committee meetings
Applicant would need to be licensed with Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
Pharmacy Technicians for Saint Luke's Advanced Care Pharmacy may drive and deliver medications.
