Our client, a premium quality apparel sourcing & manufacturer, is looking for an Account Receivable in Santa Ana, CA to join their team.
In this role, you will be entering invoice data from orders processed. Monday Friday paying $20.00 to $22.00 / hour.
Your Day :
- Invoicing : Generate and dispatch invoices to clients accurately and promptly.
- Collections : Actively follow up on outstanding payments and manage the collection process effectively.
- Reconciliation : Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Monitoring : Keep track of customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other discrepancies.
- Customer Communication : Engage with customers via phone, email, or in-person to resolve outstanding issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address and resolve billing issues, enhancing the overall invoicing process.
- Reporting : Prepare aging reports and regularly update management on the status of accounts receivable.
- Month-End Closing : Assist in month-end closing activities and support audits as needed.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of all interactions with customers and payment details.
About You :
- 2 to 5 years of related accounting experience, preferably in apparel manufacturing.
- Experience in the apparel industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP systems and Shopwork software is advantageous.
- Must be highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
