Position Summary :
Restore First Health is looking to add a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to its rapidly expanding advanced therapy wound team.
This position will require the successful candidate to travel with our mobile wound team to patient residences and skilled nursing facilities and use our unique wound therapy to treat chronic non-healing wounds.
This position will require the successful candidate to travel throughout the Dallas area and collaborate with various partners of the Patient Care Team to deliver patient care.
Drivers license and a clean driving record are required for this position.
Qualification Summary :
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Texas
Advanced Wound Care Certification Preferred
Advanced Wound Debridement Certification Preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Current CPR Certification

Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical and psychosocial history into the electronic medical record
- Record symptoms as described by patients
- Conduct physical examinations as it relates to wound conditions of the patient population we serve
- Make diagnoses based on examination and diagnostic testing
- Perform advanced wound care therapy using advanced techniques, perform advanced sharp debridement when appropriate and placing amniotic allografts on wounds
- Provide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health that is restorative in nature
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses to delivers best outcomes for patients
- Order and interpret lab and diagnostic testing
- Follow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatments
- Participate in the development of clinical and quality policies to effectively deliver and improve services and outcomes to patients
- Clean driving record and valid drivers license
Skills
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner or PA-C in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Education and Experience :
- Two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- One to Three Years Wound Care Experience Preferred
- Prior debridement experience required
- Energetic, team player who is driven to adapt to a growing practice
- Ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients
- Ability to complete tasks thoroughly
