Job Summary

Responsible for all of the tax filings for Prisma Health. Assists with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and external audit reporting as necessary.

This position can be considered for remote work. Candidates will be required to report in person to Prisma Health Corporate Office in Greenville several times a year.

Accountabilities

Responsible for all tax filings (990's, 990Ts, 1120s, and state returns) for Prisma Health and its affiliates. 55 %

Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and board reports for Prisma Health and its affiliates. 15 %

Assist with interim and final fieldwork as needed. 10 %

Assist with quarterly reporting of financial information to bondholders and rating agencies as needed. 5 %

Keeps up to date on new accounting pronouncements and tax law and ensures these changes are implemented in Prisma Health's accounting and reporting processes. 5 %

Assists Director, Financial Reporting, Audit, & Tax with special projects / reporting as needed. 5 %

Enhances professional growth and development through such activities as professional affiliations; participation in educational programs, in-service meetings and review of current literature. 5 %

Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory / Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax or related field. Master's Degree in Accounting, Tax or related field preferred

5 years experience Accounting / , tax, public accounting experience preferred

CPA Licensure

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of office equipment (fax / copier)

Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets)

Mathematical skills

Experience preparing Form 990s and 990Ts preferred
