Bilingual English Spanish Home Care Administrative Assistant
AlfaBEST Home Care is looking for an Administrative Assitent who will organize, manage, and keep an office running. This position is responsible for clerical and organizational tasks like file organizing, scheduling appointments, assisting other staff members, and drafting correspondences or messages.
Start Salary / Pay : $45,000 - $55,000 annually, subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by law or the policies of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bilingual Spanish / English
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Prior Home Care / Home Health in office experience preffered.
- Excellent computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
- Basic medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to carry out directions, read and write with minimum supervision.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Self-starter, motivated, energetic person.
- Troubleshoot, prioritize and present a polished, positive image to co-workers, care providers, clients and families.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Works indoors in AlfaBEST Home Care office as well as in the field conducting home visits.
JOB RELATIONSHIPS :
Supervised by : Agency’s Administrator
LIFTING REQUIREMENTS :
- Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary :
- Ability to participate in physical activity.
- Ability to work for extended period of time while sitting, standing and / or being involved in physical activity.
- Moderate lifting within 25 pound weight limit.
- Ability to do moderate bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
