The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a per-diem radiologist for its Section of Emergency Radiology, based at University Hospital, Newark.
We are seeking a candidate at the Assistant Professor level to join our section; new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be fellowship trained in Emergency Radiology, Abdominal / Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, or demonstrate experience in Emergency Radiology, must possess an M.
D. or D.O. degree, and must be ABR eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology.

The Department of Radiology has 28 clinical and research faculty members, and 18 diagnostic radiology residents who provide patient care for all the major divisions of contemporary imaging.
The Emergency Radiology section is responsible for all imaging performed overnight in the Emergency Department of University Hospital, home to a Level 1 trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center.
Clinical responsibilities will include all aspects of emergency diagnostic imaging including radiography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
Emergency radiologists also consult on emergent inpatient examinations as needed. Subspecialty radiologists are available at all times for backup.
