Job Overview :

The Director of Client Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and nurturing long-term relationships with key state, government, and local agencies.

This role will lead client engagement strategies, oversee the client development team, and work cross-functionally to identify new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, account management, and client relations. Knowledge of Medicaid space and case management a plus but not required.

Ideally, this candidate should reside in the Philadelphia area and be able to travel to CareLync office at least twice a week.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Relationship Management :
  • Lead efforts to build strong, lasting relationships with existing and new state contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through Intra market expansion and new market entry
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key state contacts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Responding to state contact emails and requests within 24-hours.
  • Business Development :
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and strategic collaborations.
  • Develop and implement client / consumer acquisition strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Oversee the expansion development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Leads Intra market business for client success managers
  • Strategy and Planning :
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, billing, recruiting and District Managers) to align client development strategies with broader business goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive client development plans, including forecasting, goal setting, and progress reporting.
  • Drive innovation in client outreach and engagement methods.
  • Data & Reporting :
  • Track and analyze development metrics, including new market pipeline, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Provide regular and timely reports and insights to executive leadership on client development activities and performance.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, account management or a related field required
  • 8+ years of experience in client development, business development, or account management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets and business goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and motivating a team to drive results.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects. Travel could be up to 40%
