Physician / Rhode Island / Locum or Permanent / Medical Oncologist Job

Work Dates Needed : As soon as credentialed. Position lasts for 1 year.

Preferred Schedule : Clinic Hours : M-F; 8am to 4 : 30pm, excluding holidays. Clinic or OR Schedule : 40 hours per week during admin hours; specific clinic times to be negotiated with provider closer to start date. Weeknight, Weekends and Holiday call is required. On call schedule to be determined by clinical director. On-call providers must be available w / n 15 mins by phone and on-site w / n 60 mins.

Worksite Setting : VA Medical Center

Scope of Work : Providence VA currently has a shortage of BC Oncology physicians. This position lasts 1 year and provider is required to commit for the year. Therefore, provider must reside within 50 miles of the facility. Provider will provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in an Inpatient (1%) and Outpatient (99%) clinic setting.

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : Board Certified by the Internal Medicine Medical Oncology Board. Active Medical License and Federal DEA, BLS, ACLS, Fingerprinting and security clearance
