Responsibilities and Duties :
- Activities of daily living assistance
- Personal hygiene help, including bathing and toileting
- Dressing and grooming assistance
- Incontinence care
- Help with ambulation and assisted transfers
- Meal planning, preparation, and clean-up
- Transportation and assistance on errands, outings and appointments
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Dementia care
- Safety supervision
- Compassionate companionship
Qualifications and Skills :
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience is required
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Valid driver's license and use of a reliable, insured automobile
- Mobile smart phone that can run Android or iPhone apps
- Florida state CNA licensing is a plus but not required
