The Position
We are seeking a Director of Nursing andoffer the following compensation package :
- $90,000 to $100,000 (Based on Experience)
- 403(b) Retirement Package with Company Match
- Medical, Dental, and Vision (Eligibility 1st of the month after 60 Days)

Requirements :
- Full-Time Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- May Be Some Administrative On-Call Duties By Phone Only (Infrequent)
- Registered Nurse Licensed in the State of Florida
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN Required
- 35 Indirect Reports (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and Medical Assistants)
- The DON will have 7 Direct Reports
- 2+ years of experience in Nurse Leadership in Behavioral Health (ADON, DON, Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Clinical Manager, Clinical Director will all work)
- Using SmartCare EMR - Training Offered
Responsibilities :
The Director of Nursing will coordinate and oversee the nursing operations of the comprehensive agency system by performing the following duties :
- Direct daily nursing and nursing assistant operations for the admissions and treatment process, including oversight of nursing duties in residential and outpatient programs.
- Oversee and ensure nursing and nursing assistant staff work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to produce efficient and quality patient care.
- Conduct weekly supervision meetings with the Nursing Supervisor and team supervisions with nursing and nursing assistant staff as needed to address and review any nursing staff suggestions, concerns, and / or issues related to patient care and / or employment matters.
- Assist the Medical Director with overall operations of medical services and treatment programs.
- Observe patient physical and mental health statuses to make appropriate referrals as needed.
- Provide health education to patients and train and enable nursing staff to do the same.
