Overview :
The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in our organization by providing on-site maintenance, repair, and installation services for our products.

Key Responsibilities :
- Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, or repair equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Perform routine maintenance and follow scheduled service plans
- Document service activities, including parts used and work performed
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues
- Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times
- Assist in the development of service procedures and documentation
- Provide feedback to improve product performance and service efficiency
- Ensure timely response to service requests and maintain service records
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
- Manage and prioritize assigned service calls efficiently
- Maintain inventory of service parts and tools
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for service contracts
- Support product testing and validation activities in the field
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus
- Proven experience in field service or related technical roles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong grasp of technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Time management and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting service activities
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and travel as needed
- Experience with CRM or service management software is a plus
- Basic understanding of networking and IT systems
- Certifications in relevant technical fields are a plus
