JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) will serve as a strategic leader and partner within Cinepolis, USA dedicated to fostering an inclusive, dynamic, and nurturing work environment for all employees.
This role will focus on aligning the HR strategy with the theater's overall mission and objectives, driving company culture, ensuring that the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent in the industry.
JOB DUTIES
Strategic Leadership :
Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the theater's goals, mission, and values.
Talent Management :
Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring the theater attracts and retains top talent.
Employee Relations :
Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Training & Development :
Develop and administer training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and job satisfaction.
Compensation & Benefits :
Design, review, and update compensation structures and benefit programs to be competitive and aligned with the theater's budget.
Performance Management :
Implement and oversee a performance review process that drives continuous improvement and aligns with company goals.
Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure the theater is compliant with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Diversity & Inclusion :
Champion initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
Organizational Development :
Provide guidance on organizational structure and design, ensuring the theater's structure supports its strategic goals.
Conflict Resolution :
Address and resolve any employee grievances, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.
g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in multi-venue and multi-state organization within the food and / or cinema industry.
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and organizational development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
- Candidates who are passionate about working in the hospitality industry and recognize the importance of fostering a creative, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
- Able to work in a high-pressure dynamic work environment and company.
