A company in Valencia is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Data / Inventory Clerk. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory and records, ensuring efficient operations and logistics management in our company.
This is a part time position Monday-Thursday for about 24 hours / week.
Responsibilities
Compile, verify and maintain records related to incoming and outgoing shipments.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, and process documentation to confirm system and physical counts match.
Compile data from different sources to prepare detailed reports for management.
Coordinate activities involving purchase order, shipping, receiving, and quality control of the products.
Update databases or inventory management systems daily with new data or changes to current entries.
Resolve discrepancies, shortages, or excess inventory by investigating and liaising with other departments.
Coordinate and assist in year-end and cycle count inventories.
Ensure regulations and safety standards are met in the process of handling and storing inventory.
Maintain the warehouse storage areas to keep the environment safe and clean.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
Proficient in the use of inventory software and databases.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
