Operations Coordinator - Life Sciences
Our client, a premier global logistics company, recognized for its expertise in time-sensitive solutions, is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to provide essential support in customer service and operational logistics for life sciences clients.
This role involves managing shipment activities, coordinating with customs and airlines, and ensuring seamless delivery according to customer specifications and regulatory standards.

Focus :
- Generate and provide formal quotations and initiate job entries in the system.
- Arrange and coordinate shipments, including scheduling with major airlines.
- Prepare and manage essential shipment documentation, including air waybills and manifests.
- Conduct export filings and collaborate with Customs House Brokers for import compliance.
- Track and update shipment statuses, maintaining clear communication with customers and logistics partners.
- Oversee packaging, temperature-sensitive delivery logging, and maintenance of controlled units.
Skill Set :
- Proficient in shipment coordination, import / export compliance, and handling of life sciences logistics.
- Strong communication skills for clear updates, client interactions, and collaboration with global partners.
- Familiar with international shipping regulations and requirements for temperature-sensitive shipments.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail in documentation and shipment tracking.
- Skilled in logistics software and online customs systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in International Shipping, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (such as CILT or CSCMP) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in logistics or operations within the life sciences or a highly regulated industry is beneficial.
