TITLE : MLE : Planning to Support Entering and Emerging EL students in the Foundational Language Classes
LOCATION : Mandatory in-person Launch Meeting Early July TBD based on team availability (MCB Complex) / Asynchronous
REPORTS TO : Dr. Alberto Carrero, Director of MLLs Program & Alma Pezo, Assistant Director of the MLLs Program

GENERAL DUTIES : Participate in a combination of in person meetings and asynchronous work throughout the summer.
DESCRIPTION : Educators will work to enhance HQIM in ELA and have clear expectations to best support entering and emerging MLLs.
The areas of focus include enhanced planning for content and language goals, assessment, and intentional scaffolds.
DATE(S) : July through August 9th Time : Anticipated 10 hours total
QUALIFICATIONS : The ideal candidate is a MLE teacher who has experience working with the Entering and Emerging MLLs.
COMPENSATION : Educators will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day. This work will be done throughout the summer between July 1st and August 9th.
