A 130-bed not for profit hospital is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for locums coverage. They have a level 1 nursery, NICU about 90 min away, and they transfer out anything too acute.
Southern Virginia is full of waterways and outdoor activities to enjoy while on assignment! Visit Shenandoah National Park or Luray Caverns! The schedule is 24 hr call.
The clinician must be available for deliveries with NRP ability, ED calls, occasional ped floor pt. During regular business hours, our pediatricians will respond and round on their own pts but coverage would be needed for unassigned ped patients and available for all peds pts for holiday as we would be closed.
The locum must have the ability to intubate and resuscitate.
