Principal Healthcare Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable architectures that address complex business challenges and support future growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensure solutions meet business needs, and provide technical leadership on leveraging industry-leading technologies and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and a deep understanding of X12 EDI standards.

As a Solutions Architect You Will

• Architect and Design Solutions : Design and implement robust, scalable architectures that solve complex business challenges, ensuring solutions are aligned with future growth and evolving requirements while adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Technology Leadership : Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance on leveraging industry-leading technologies and frameworks to develop robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• EDI Management : Ensure the proper handling and processing of EDI 834 Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance files, and other healthcare-related X12 EDI files.
• System Integration : Design and implement integration solutions between internal systems and external customers and partners.
• Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and databases, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Documentation and Compliance : Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
• Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, proposing and implementing continuous improvements to the architecture and processes.

What We Are Looking For

• Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 15+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect. Experience in healthcare X12 EDI specifications is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency :
• Strong expertise in building and scaling services.
• Demonstrate expertise in database design, optimization, and scaling, ensuring data solutions are efficient, reliable, and capable of supporting future business growth.
• Must be versed in cloud infrastructure such as Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Utilize extensive expertise in designing, developing, and scaling web APIs, ensuring secure, high-performance data exchange between systems, and supporting enterprise-level reliability and scalability.
• Healthcare Knowledge : Deep understanding of healthcare X12 EDI standards.
• Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Nice to have lead projects and managed people

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices : San Francisco, CA , Plano, TX , or Lehi, UT . Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Plano, TX ) or two days per week (all other locations). # LI -hybrid

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
