Abaline is seeking a dynamic, experienced and professional Assistant Customer Service Manager to join our

expanding team in Bayonne, NJ.

This position will transfer to our new office in Brooklyn, NY by January 2025.

As Assistant Customer Service Manager, you will oversee customer complaints and requests, ensuring exceptional customer support while supporting the sales team.

This role requires 100% on-site presence.

Abaline will cover all transportation costs for the newly hired CS assistant manager to our

Bayonne, NJ office till we move to Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Lead a team of two to three customer service representatives.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues via multiple communication channels.
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products to provide accurate information and address customer queries.
  • Process orders, modifications, and applications promptly and accurately.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Collaborate with colleagues as needed to address customer concerns and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of customer service processes to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold professional customer support standards.

Requirements :

  • Must reside locally in or around Brooklyn, NY.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service.
  • Proven experience in developing policies, processes, and procedures for customer service teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to various customer personalities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
