This is a Full Time Position
The hours are Monday- Friday from 8am- 3 : 30pm

Full time hours are typically 35 to 37 hours / week. All employees are eligible for benefits at 30 hours / week.
A typical day for a Teacher's Assistant will include :
- Working as a team with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, healthy, structured, welcoming space to grow and learn.
- Singing, dancing, playing, teaching!
- Inspiring children to be lifelong learners.
- Partnering with families to nurture and care for their children.
- Showcasing your tech savvy skills by using an electronic daily tracking app.
- Assisting with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives.
A typical day for a Food Service Worker will include :
- Order, inventory food stock and supplies for meals
- Prepare meals and snacks on a daily basis
- Comply with safe food handling guidelines
- Assist in the creation of a safe, healthy, structured and nurturing environment
- Communicate positively with parents
- Attend meetings and trainings
- Assist with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary

We have full time positions or part time positions (with flexible schedules available).
Our learning centers are open between the hours of 7 : 00 a.m. 5 : 30 p.m., Monday - Friday. We have locations across Rhode Island.
Requirements :
We are willing to train the right person! Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working with children. We are looking for someone who has the following skills :
- A personal demeanor that is warm and friendly.
- Verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and reading skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Team-oriented and willing to work with others.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
- Safe Serve Certification (state licensed) preferred
- CPR / First Aid certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Able to engage in physical exercise with children (walking, running, crawling, bending, twisting).
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Other Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older (Teen Aide positions are available for applicants 16-18 years of age).
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English, bilingual encouraged to apply.
- Must pass national criminal background / fingerprints check.
- Must pass Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Clearance Request (CPS).
