Woofer Electronics is a dynamic, rapidly growing company specializing in automotive consumer electronics. We are looking for an organized and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to help optimize our warehouse operations.
Job Overview :
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient, safe, and smooth workflows.
This role includes managing staff, coordinating shipments, monitoring inventory, and maintaining high standards of order fulfillment.
This position is ideal for a hands-on, team-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Team Supervision : Assist in managing, training, and scheduling warehouse staff, promoting a safe and positive work environment.
- Inventory Control : Support inventory management activities, including inventory counts, tracking, and organization to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Shipping & Receiving : Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
- Equipment Maintenance : Coordinate maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as needed.
- Reporting : Assist in preparing reports related to inventory, orders, and other key performance indicators.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience : 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills :
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
