IU Health Physicians has a supplemental opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their growing Pulmonary Critical Care team in Indianapolis, IN.
Opportunity Details
- PRN for coverage as needed, based upon availabilityÂ
- Night shift (12-hour shifts)
- No Call
- 100% inpatient
- Coverage at IU Health North, West, and Methodist Hospitals
- Team includes 30 physicians and 30 APPs
- Patient population includes critically ill medical and surgical patients
Key responsibilities
- Cross cover for ICU, New admissions & respond to Code Blue and RRT calls.
- Procedures include intubations, central and arterial line insertion, and chest tube insertions.
Qualifications
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
- Previous ICU experienced required
- CCRN certification required
- 3-5 years of clinical experienced required
