THE ROLE : ?In the rapidly expanding world of AI and HPC, enabling solid system level integration and validation via automation becomes paramount.

Our DCGPU solutions, including APUs and GPUs, demand rigorous testing for optimum performance and reliability.We are seeking a Validation Content and Automation Tools lead to help drive the development and strategy of our tools and infrastructure.

The Systems Design Engineering team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.

THE PERSON : ?You will be part of a team to drive and improve AMDs abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.

Your experience in test methodology, validation content scaling and software development combined with the drive to constantly improve upon the existing state, will enable our engineering teams to advance the state of HPC and AI at an accelerated pace through leading validation and test methodologies.

You will work closely with validation subject matter experts to architect and drive automated content for system validation and at-scale stress.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : ?Lead design, development and support of in-house automation content and tool solutions that can scale across nodes and usersLead in the design and development of validation test content and frameworks as well as configuration management to leverage across a variety of system configurationsEngage multi-disciplinary stakeholders for requirement gathering and issue resolving driving towards a common solution spaceDevelop deep understanding of upcoming AMD Platforms, SOCs, IPs, tools, and programming libraries to create relevant and cohesive solutions leading to large scale validation and test system deployments

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : ?Strong software, hardware and system validation and debug experience in functional domains as well as at cross-domain and system levels deep understanding of validation test requirements, constraints and coverageExtensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategiesProven track record of developing and architecting Python and other object-oriented based solutions in a team environmentPower user of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, containers, etc.

Experienced with creating modular and maintainable code adhering to best practicesExperience with other languages, web development, REST and databases is an assetExperience in data analytics and report generation is an assetExperience in cross OS development in Linux and windows environment preferredACADEMIC CREDENTIALS : ?

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science#LI-BW1#LI-hybridQualifications : At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.

Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
