Job Title : Senior Project Manager - Plumbing / HVAC

Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Plumbing and HVAC to join our Orange County, CA team.
This role is perfect for a local professional with a stable work history and a strong background in commercial mechanical construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the entire lifecycle of HVAC piping and plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Manage all aspects of project execution, including planning, procurement, design, construction, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Gantt charts. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Accurately estimate project costs, prepare detailed change orders, and manage project budgets. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Apply expertise in managing projects within specialized sectors such as pharmaceuticals, labs, schools, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in commercial mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing is required. Experience with projects in diverse sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, labs, educational institutions, data centers, hospitals, hotels, and arenas, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in building and managing Gantt charts, scheduling, and estimating change orders. Familiarity with project management tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) is advantageous.
- Must be a local candidate with a proven track record of stable employment in Orange County.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
