Local Contract Nurse RN - Telemetry - $55-60 per hour

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 14 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Telemetry RN to join our inpatient nursing team. This role is critical in providing continuous cardiac monitoring and care for patients requiring observation for cardiac or other high-acuity conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and acute patient care. Key Responsibilities : Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms via telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status Perform frequent and comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and EKGs Administer medications, titrate IV drips, and manage complex care plans under provider direction Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nursing staff Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and discharge care Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Qualifications : Active RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or progressive care unit BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry equipment use Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and communication skills Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
