Physical Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students with extensive support needs and providing them with the necessary physical therapy interventions to enhance their quality of life and educational experience.
Responsibilities :
- Provide physical therapy services to students with moderate to severe disabilities in various educational settings.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to address students unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
Job Qualifications :
- Master s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Must have active Texas PT license.
- Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, teachers, and other professionals.
