The 7 East Medical Care Unit, right after its recent merge with the 7 East IRU Unit is an exciting, innovative, dynamic, fast-paced, 50-bed, acute care unit, and the first-choice unit for patients with diabetes, metabolic and GI, pulmonary illnesses, as well as numerous other general medical disorders.

The 7 East team is known for its amazing teamwork and supportive work environment.All nursing practice is based on the legal scope of practice, national and specialty nursing standards, Children's National Policies and Procedures, andin accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Professional Model of Care requires registered professional nurses to be responsible andaccountable for their own practice.

Minimum EducationBSN Graduated from an approved school of nursing. (Preferred)Minimum Work Experience1 year RN experience (Required)Required Skills / KnowledgeThe licensed Registered Nurse will successfully complete the hospital and nursing orientation at Children's National.
