Purpose of the Position : To develop, plan and implement appropriate occupational therapy based therapeutic programs and improve the school educational experience of the students in our partner District.
Job Group Classification : Foundations
Overtime Status : Non-Exempt
Salary Range : $50 - $55 per hour

Position Responsibilities and Duties :
- Maintain attendance and hourly contact records (e.g., therapy logs)
- Observation, screening, evaluation, and consultation for students who require or may require OT services
- Write appropriate, evidence-based goals and objectives
- Maintain effective working relationships with other special education personnel as well as regular education personnel and parents
- Provide direct services to students
- Provide services in collaborative model
- Expertise with assistive technology
Minimum Skills or Qualifications :
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy program
- School Experience Preferred
- Hold a current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Licensed in the State of Arizona by the Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
Work Environment and Physical Demands :
- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
- Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
- Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
- The noise intensity level is moderate to high
