Description :
The supermarket is essentially a smaller warehouse within the warehouse. It contains prebuilt servers of certain specifications as well as accessories, replacement parts, and other parts for customization of said servers.
The main warehouse will pick up the raw components that make up the stock standard servers, which will be brought into the lab, assembled, and tested.
Once complete, the clerks are responsible for managing those servers in multiple software systems as well as physically within inventory racking.
When Cohesity receives an order from a customer, that information will be sent to our planning team to generate orders to fulfill.
Responsibilities
- The clerks are also responsible for picking those orders.
- This is done physically and systemically.
- These orders will then undergo more assembly and another test, as this is the customization we allow Cohesity’s customers for their servers.
- During any of this process, there may be several issues that could arise which would need to be efficiently troubleshot and communicated with the respective teams to ensure we can stick to our contractually obligated 3-day turnaround time.
- All tasks are completed in an ESD safe environment with the proper protective equipment.
- Overtime may be requested and is mandatory during quarter ends.
Responsibilities
- At least 1 year of Inventory Control experience
- Proficient in excel
