Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill is seeking dedicated RNs to join our team! Drop by and learn what our setting has to offer.

Now offering walk in interview days every Wednesday in July. New graduate RNs welcome.

We are located inside of Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center.

When you arrive at the hospital, park in the front of the building (you will see the main entrance and ED) and come in the front door.

When you enter the atrium, tell the front desk that you are there for Select Specialty Hospital on the 5th floor. You can take the hallway to the right, past the cafe and gift shop.

The hall bends to the left and that will take you to the main elevators for the building.

Take those elevators to the 5th floor and you will find Select. Please go to the nurses station and alert them that you are there to interview.

Responsibilities

You will ensure that the nursing care plan is being followed by being a Champion of the Select Medical Way, which includes putting the patient first, helping to improve quality of life for the community in which you live and work, continuing to develop and explore new ideas, providing high-quality care and doing well by doing what is right.

• Receiving admissions and / or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpreting assessment / diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients / families.

Qualifications

You will demonstrate an understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each patient feels informed and understood, as well as heard.

You are passionate about providing superior quality care and you are an inventive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Minimum requirements :

• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RN must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications that will make you successful :

Clinical experience preferred.
