Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech to join our healthcare team in St.
Louis, MO, for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens Fluoroscopy, GE CT scanner, and Ultrasound, to assist in interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities include preparing and operating imaging equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform interventional radiology procedures using Siemens Fluoroscopy, GE CT scanner, and Ultrasound equipment.
Accurately interpret and follow physician instructions for imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment.
Ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy.
Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Requirements :
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Interventional Technologist.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
