Residential Construction Estimator
A Top Ranked Custom Home Builder is seeking an Estimator to join their growing team! Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed and itemized take-offs for semi-custom and custom residential construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Positive attitude, customer minded / service skills, able to work well with others.
- Proficient in Builder trend strongly preferred.
- Provide expertise in understanding the full scope of construction processes, from field operations to estimating.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in construction, with a significant portion in field roles before transitioning to estimating.
- Proven experience in conducting itemized take-offs for residential projects, especially in the semi-custom and custom home sector.
- In-depth understanding of the entire construction process, from the ground up to project completion.
- Familiarity with both semi-custom- and custom-building practices.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable, adjusting as project requirements evolve.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.
