Physical Therapist III - Full Time, IP MMC

Are you an experienced inpatient Physical Therapist who is looking to transition to a Nationally Recognized Hospital? If so, Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at Morristown Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.

Do not wait to apply!Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.

The selected candidate will be able to work with a wide variety of patients in the acute phase of their illness / injury for weakness, balance issues, decline in physical function, etc.

Level III therapists possess 5+ years of prior experience. Level III therapists have all licenses and certifications that are needed to fulfill the duties required of a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.

The therapist works on problems of diverse scope and advanced complexity, exercises independent judgement on moderately to substantially complex cases, requires little instruction on day-to-day work and general direction on more complex tasks and projects, and regularly trains staff on technical skills.

Minimum Education : Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program as evidenced by a license to practice in the State of NJ.

Minimum Experience : Preference given to internal AHS applicantsPreference will be given to candidates with 5+ years of experience and professional work experience in a large academic medical setting.
