Qualifications :

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking is seeking multiple Associate and Experienced Manufacturing Engineers located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
  • Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
  • Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.
  • Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
  • Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
  • Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 2+ years of related engineering experience
  • Experience in Lean Process implementation
  • Prior engineering experience in a manufacturing or production role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

  • B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience supporting defense and / or aerospace customers
  • Experience with 3D model based instruction
  • Experience with any of the following : IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

Level 2 : Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 3 : Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

Level 2 : $75,650 $102,350

Level 3 : $90,100 - $121,900
