Tool Maker Plastics Base Salary to 45.00 / hour Paramus, NJ
- Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer. They are a global company and rapidly growing.
- The Tool Maker will be closely involved in tool room activities. This will be a hands-on role involved in building, repairing, and maintaining molds and providing guidance on tooling issues throughout the plant.
Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate milling, lathe, surface grinders, and basic machine shop equipment.
- Building and repairing molds.
- Read blueprints, sketches, and CAM / CAM files to determine mold specifications.
- Lead the preventative maintenance program for manual and automatic equipment.
- Utilize CAD software for mold design.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing molds.
- Troubleshoot mold and die issues in the shop and in current production.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years toolmaking / mold making experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of CAD / CAM software experience.
- Experienced using Proto TRAK milling machine.
- 5+ years of CRM software experience.
- Ability to use 3 D files to program CNC machines.
- Mold maker or tool maker journeyman certification (or equivalent).
Compensation :
- Base salary in the 40.00 45.00 / hour range
