Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Director to join the Strategy, Evaluation and Learning team. The team focuses on supporting racially just and humanizing school systems through evaluation and data capacity building.
The Director will develop, implement, promote and oversee projects and systems to support continuous learning, evaluation, and strategic planning within the Agency and externally with Agency partners.
The Director will oversee PSESD’s performance measurement system and support teams to successfully implement various internal and external projects.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington.
Serving over 39% of Washington’s K-12 public school students, our agency provides critical services designed to ensure that our students are ready to enter school, achieve at high levels in the K-12 system, and succeed in postsecondary endeavors.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in job-related area
- Experience in program evaluation and research, emphasizing culturally responsive practices
- Experience promoting racial equity and antiracist advocacy
- Experience leading teams
- Experience engaging in business development
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance measurement
- Experience with budget management and oversight
- Understanding of and experience with change management
- Experience coaching adults on data use and effective practices

Hiring Salary Range : $113,819 - $149,341 Band R
