Are you a dynamic Physical Therapist eager to make a difference in a school setting? Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time role in Benton, LA.
In this position, you'll provide essential physical therapy services to students, helping them achieve their physical milestones and thrive in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create Personalized Therapy Plans : Design and implement customized therapy programs for students based on their individual needs.
- Collaborate with School Teams : Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop and execute effective therapy strategies.
- Monitor and Adjust : Conduct assessments to track student progress and modify therapy plans as necessary.
- Educate and Support : Provide training and support to students, families, and school personnel on physical therapy techniques and practices.
- Maintain Documentation : Keep detailed records of therapy sessions, student progress, and interventions.
- Participate in IEP Meetings : Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal setting and acmodations.
Qualifications :
- Education : Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure : Valid Physical Therapist license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience : Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Skills : Strong munication and collaboration skills, with a patient-centered approach to therapy.
