Are you an experienced Personnel Security Specialist with demonstrated capability working within executive-level DoD multi-level security environments?
We have an excellent position for you to support N9SP Deputy Director at Crystal City, VA.
As a Personnel Security Specialist , you will :
- Assist the government security team with the personnel security program (Program Access Request (PAR) Process, SCI nomination process, etc.)
- Develop, coordinate, maintain, and update Personnel Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Provide training on the personnel security process for all new employees.
- Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.

A week in a life of a Personnel Security Specialist :
- Review all incoming PAR packages to ensure all required information is included.
- Generate PAR packages for personnel under CPSO cognizance.
- Make initial eligibility determinations utilizing DISS and / or Scattered Castles and PSQ in-accordance with applicable policies.
- Maintain all personnel security records and ensure records are current and in accordance with applicable personnel security requirements.
- Ensure PSQ's are updated annually for all personnel under the cognizance of the facility security manager.
- Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIAs) and provide to the requestor or briefer.
- Generate debrief PIAs, provide to the de-briefer and / or execute debriefs on behalf of the government security team.
- Conduct annual personnel security reviews to include JADS and JADE database reviews and prepare and execute corrective action plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or a technical Field
- 8-10 years of relevant Security Administration experience
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is a must.
- Possess an analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to brief executives and program IPT level leadership.
- High Proficiency with MS Office applications, including SharePoint.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.
Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
