Job Summary

3Z Brands has an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR & Payroll Manager based in Glendale, AZ.

The Payroll & HR Manager is responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and company policies. The ideal candidate is bi-lingual, has experience working in a manufacturing setting, and is familiar with the nuances of hourly, shift-based payroll, overtime, and incentive pay. The HR & Payroll Manager will work closely with finance, and 3Z departments to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of regular hours, overtime, bonuses, and shift differentials.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Generate payroll reports and summaries for HR, Finance, and management.
  • Assist with audits and reporting for internal stakeholders and government agencies.
  • Work with HR to ensure accurate employee data related to pay, benefits, and deductions.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage payroll budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze current payroll processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Manage data entry, data integrity, and document retention processes.
  • Business Partner to our transportation business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in payroll (typically 5+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (Specifically ADP).
  • Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be Bi-lingual Spanish / English
