Forsyth Barnes has partnered with a global service provider specializing in consumer services (food, products, facilities management).
We are seeking an Engineering Leader who will collaborate closely with our business leaders to accelerate the development and delivery of analytics platforms and capabilities that drive value across the organization.
The successful candidate will lead initiatives to democratize data access, streamline data acquisition processes, and leverage AI to drive actionable insights.
We are looking for someone with a strong passion for data innovation, a service-oriented mindset, and a data-driven approach to management.
Responsibilities :
Lead the strategic vision and continuous evolution of the Enterprise Shared Service (ESS) Analytics Platform, leveraging emerging technologies and AI to optimize data value, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making.
Democratize data access organization-wide, collaborating with Data Product Owners and business leaders to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
Manage and mentor the data engineering team, ensuring high-quality, reliable data products, and efficient project delivery.
Engage with executive leadership on analytics strategy, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Build and maintain strong relationships across stakeholders, guiding teams through clear communication, strategic leadership, and inclusive collaboration.
Requirements :
Must have recent experience within a consumer products / CPG or retail goods organization.
Proven experience in implementing and operating cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
Experience leading teams in a high-influence model, managing operations in a distributed organization.
Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, analysis, and statistics, to generate data-driven insights.
A bachelor’s degree in technology (e.g., computer science / engineering), business administration, or a related field; master's degree strongly preferred.
