Peter Pan Bus Lines is now searching for a motivated individual who is serious about safety to join our team as an entry level motorcoach mechanic.
Candidates with prior experience in diesel or fleet repair preferred .
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Familiar with industry standard tools and procedures for basic diagnostics and repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair based on standardized procedures.
- Inspect equipment in detail for defects, damage potential component failure areas.
- Follow protocol and create an action plan to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety guidelines in compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, state and federal DOT standards.
- Log and input all work, inspections and other maintenance data.
- Assist coworkers as necessary.
- Maintain a safe, organized work space.
Employee Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- Background in automotive / truck & bus industry maintenance
- Experience with industry standard tools and equipment
- ASE certification, class B CDL, EPA 608 certification desired
- Basic computer skills
- Clear communication skills
- Desire to learn and adapt to new situations as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Wages starting at $30.00 per hour, additional pay incentives for ASE certifications and CDL License
Employees will be required to complete pre-employment drug screen and background check, including employment references.
