The Director of Sales for the US market plays a critical role in overseeing and guiding a team of outside sales executives tasked with acquiring new business and effectively selling the Company's complete range of solutions.
This leadership position requires the Director to provide strategic direction and motivation to the sales team to ensure maximum sales revenues and the attainment of corporate objectives.
Furthermore, the Director also contributes significantly to defining the overall organizational goals and strategic plans, thereby influencing the long-term success and growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of sales executives to attain successful sales metrics by planning, monitoring, and appraising sales KPIs.
- Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.
- Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling, assigning groups, and following up on sales performance.
- Maintains the team's results by counseling and disciplining employees.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops on sales strategies, customer relationship management, and market trends and reviewing publications such as industry journals and market reports.
This is in addition to establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Creates and communicates sales goals and ensures C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
- Builds and maintains long-lasting, strong customer relationships while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business administration or related field Required
- 7-9 years of Sales experience, medium, large, or enterprise sales experience preferred meeting and exceeding quotas and targets.
- Proven experience leading and coaching a sales team to their highest potential.
- Strong Sales Management Skills
- Sales Acumen
- Sales Force knowledge
- Knowledge of sales strategies, processes, and approaches.
- Language : English & Spanish a plus
