Description : We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in an elementary district in Oxnard, California for the 2024 / 25 school year.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential health services to students in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details :
- Role : Full-Time RN or LVN
- Location : Oxnard, CA
- Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
- Duration : ASAP June 17, 2025
- Caseload : TK - 8th grade students districtwide
- Responsibilities :
- Provide general nursing care across the district
- Assist students with diabetes and other medical needs
- Collaborate with school nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Manage diabetic care, including carb counting and blood glucose monitoring for young children
Requirements :
- Valid RN or LVN license in California
- Strong experience in diabetic care, including carb counting for young children
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and provide prehensive medical support
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
