Job Title : Order Handler
Location : Bristol, PA 19007 (ON SITE)
Job Pay Rate : $15 for morning shift and $16.50 for night shift
Job Type : Contract role
Shift : Can select a shift to work
1st Shift 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM Monday - Friday
2nd Shift 4 : 30PM to 12 : 30AM Monday Friday
Job Description :
Performs various tasks related to picking, packing, and shipping product orders.
Work is performed adjacent to conveyors which shift product from station to station.
Processes are continuous.
Production goals are set for the picking modules.
Auditing Verifying the contents order. Involves unpacking & repacking cartons.
Dunnage Add packing materials or dunnage.
EComm Picking & Packing dunnage
OPEX Picking Picking & packing cartons from goods-to-person automation
Picking Performed in pick modules, exceptions, or manual pick.
OPEX Replenishing Replenishing cartons at the unit level into goods-to-person automation
Use of computer audit stations.
Identify and reconcile picking errors using Exacta audit station; visual inspection of labels / cartons.
Use tool to split unit or case packs when necessary
Perform picking of finished product from flow rack to cartons : bar code scanning.
For ECOM, perform picking of finished product from flow rack into pick carts.
Pack finished goods following established procedures to ensure accuracy and damage free shipments; places on a conveyor belt;
apply packing slips to cartons; label per DOT regulations.
Operate in a team environment using recommended techniques.
Maintain standard productivity level within the guidelines of the department.
Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
Communicate with co-workers in areas of function.
Perform various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees.
Able to work all shifts and overtime / weekend work as required.
Work Environment : Indoor work; Annual temp. range estimated at 60-80 degrees in warehouse. Dust / noise : maintained within occupational limits.
Shift : 8 hour shift with overtime / weekend work as needed.
Breaks : One 20 minute break; one 30 minute lunch break for 8 hour shift; One 15 minute break for a shift that is 6 hours or less
Five day work week.
Personal Protective Equipment (optional also indicated) : Gloves, steel toe shoes, safety glasses during work activities.
