Job Description :

Oversee and guide engineering team who will write complex, production-quality to ensure data transformation code is accurate, performant, and maintainable.

Review code and enable the engineering team and validate solutions from the team, including data preparation to data transformation to data visualization.

Own the data warehouse and ingestion / visualization and work with all internal data. Partner with team members and key stakeholders to understand all the necessary business specifications and requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure projects to implement new systems / tools / processes, ingest data from new sources, and pipe data between systems.

Work closely with analysts, business stakeholders, and data scientists with domain expertise to architect, build and launch data pipelines and data models that align with business needs and enable self-service.

Facilitate the team's adoption of best practices in relevant data transformation tools and query performance tuning. Maintain the quality of our analytics and codebases by identifying and addressing tech debt and ensure consistent style.

Create and maintain an effective data testing strategy to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and ELT pipelines to drive confidence in the ultimate analysis being presented to business stakeholders.

Identify data visualization tool best practices and oversee the development of easy to use explores and dashboards for our stakeholders.

Use understanding of how to use statistical techniques to analyze data.Position is based in fixed location; however, 100% telecommuting permitted.

Job Requirements :

Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, or a directly related field plus six (6) years of experience in a related occupation as Business Intelligence / Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Software Development Engineer.

Six (6) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently) :

Experience with ELT optimization and ELT tools

Experience with SQL

Experience with Python

Experience with Snowflake or another comparable data warehouse solution

Two (2) years of experience :

Scaling and managing engineering teams and development projects, from concept to delivery

40 hours / week, 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Salary : $200,000.00 -$248,000.00 / year.
